Teri-Crotek d.o.o. is part of the Cluster Metalaca Sjevernog Jadrana Metalaca and in particular the leader of the Consortium within the Cluster dealing with the production of equipped ships sections. The company, after a 60-year old tradition and monitoring of the world standards and technology development, is today one of the biggest companies in the field of anti-corrosive protection in Croatia with a significant presence on further foreign markets of the EU and Russia. With regard to shipbuilding, Teri-Crotek focuses on the areas “New building”, “Ship's Repair and Conversion”, “On shore” objects/new building and maintenance, “Off shore” objects/new building and maintenance, “Small shipbuilding” and ”Yachting”. Currently, the company has 535 employees who are continuously educated and trained in the company’s own training centre and who are dealing with the monitoring and accepting of new technologies, modernisation of machines and devices, computerisation of process planning and company dealings, while ensuring the permanent monitoring of the world standards and achievements.

Since October 13^th, 1998, Teri-Crotek possesses the quality certificate (QMS) ISO 9001:2000, issued by BVQI in respect of technical protection works by surface preparation and painting. Demanding market required the same certificate from the Russian Register on May 18^th, 2004. At the same time, the company owns the IQNET Quality Certificate and the Certificate on the execution and control of works on ships under the supervision of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Since February 2^nd, 2007, the company also possesses the Certificate for the Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001:2004. Besides the trained and certified internal auditors of the system quality and environmental protection, Teri-Crotek has also got the certified IRCA QMS Lead and Internal Auditor. The company uses the newest equipment for the conditioning of the closed spaces in the shipbuilding industry as well as nature-friendly methods of surface preparation and projects protection systems according to ecologically acceptable conditions, aimed to realise the intention of sustainable development of the company’s activities and the application and acceptance of these advanced methods in its business area.

Teri-Crotek will in accordance with Megaflex collect the required information from the relevant industrial community in the region. In specific information will be gathered concerning the companies’ needs regarding the adoption of advanced technologies for the sector. In this regard, Teri-Crotek will also participate to the information gathering on the companies’ technology demand, to be elaborated further on in the Liaison Offices. Through the strong cluster activity in the region, the company will furthermore involve regional key actors in the International shipbuilding dissemination forum and further events, thus rising awareness on the project activities and its goals.
