The Naval Technolgical District of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the general context of the marine economy, focuses on research and innovation, on the competitive growth of the dockyards and shipbuilding industry, and the training of its human resources, hence DITENAVE’s mission is aimed at services or manufacturing firms that at present have, or would like to have, a significant share of the turnover in the dockyard or shipbuilding system as a whole.
As a result, other interests and activities, referrable to the marine economy, but connected with site management, such as the planning of buildings and infrastructures, the promotion of tourism, seaside services, the trade of goods and merchandise, are to be considered outside the domain of the district.
